I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and to be honest, when I was a kid I hated dance. Or, I didn't hate dance itself--my actual enemy was the pink leotard and tights I was made to wear for my uniform. I had to find a way to fully express myself while I was dancing. That's when I started to discover the relationship between acting and dance, although, of course, I didn't know that's what I was doing as a young kid.
From there, my excitement over dance and theatre grew exponentially! I moved away from my hometown to attend Baldwin Wallace University, only to leave college after a year to move to New York City when I was nineteen.
Now, I live in Brooklyn and am super excited about life! I continued my education on my own, specifically focusing on theatre dance, contemporary dance, and acting. In my spare time, I like to read, study French, play guitar, go hiking, and learn about politics (specifically environmental justice).
