Gigi Hausman

I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and to be honest, when I was a kid I hated dance class. Ohhhhh boy. The way things change! I soon found myself spending all my time either at school or at the studio. 
 
I moved away from my hometown to attend Baldwin Wallace University, but as my freshman year was passing, I had a nagging feeling that something wasn't quite right. I left Baldwin Wallace and moved to NYC when I was 19. 
 
So, I set out to "learn by doing", as the idiom goes. In my professional career, I'm lucky enough to have been a part of international tours, workshops of new shows, creative restagings of old shows, world premiere productions, and regional theatre productions. 

In my spare time I like to hike, learn languages (Spanish and French), read, and solo travel (ask me where I'm going next!).
